Power dynamics, gender and consent – a kinky performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar at the Brighton fringe festival

Hello all you lovely people,

We’ve got a fun opportunity to support the re-framing of kink in the mainstream, and be entertained in the process!

The awesome Witness Theatre company are putting on a kinky performance of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar for the Brighton Fringe festival in May (in the UK). As mentioned in the title, they are going to be exploring topics such as power dynamics, gender, consent, and generally attempting to open up the conversation in this post-50 shades period. Here’s a quote from the group’s page “In this contemporary Julius Caesar Rome is a fetish club where people play for power and sex is politics.

Sounds interesting huh!? Ethical Kink is already sponsoring the production, can you help us help them get it off the ground?

They have a crowd funding campaign that is more than a quarter of the way to the target at the time of writing. You can read loads more, check it out, donate, and claim your reward here.

If you want to grab some tickets, you can get them here.

Thanks for reading!
